Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 June 2026
Stackspire (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you visit stackspire.co.nz (the “Site”) or get in touch with us. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information that you choose to provide, and limited technical data, including:
- Contact form details — your name, email address, and (optionally) your company name, project budget range, and the contents of your message.
- Communications — any information you include when you email us directly or otherwise correspond with us.
- Usage data — anonymised, aggregated analytics about how the Site is used (such as page views and general region), collected via privacy-friendly analytics.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your enquiries and discuss potential projects;
- provide, maintain, and improve our services and the Site;
- communicate with you about work we are carrying out for you; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses privacy-focused analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the experience. This does not use intrusive tracking cookies and does not build an advertising profile of you. Your browser may store small amounts of data necessary for the Site to function. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site and our business, and only to the extent necessary. These include:
- Resend — used to deliver contact-form submissions to our inbox by email.
- Vercel — used to host the Site and provide aggregate analytics.
Some of these providers may store data outside New Zealand. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is afforded comparable protection. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. How we store and protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and retain it only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
6. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. To make a request, or if you have any concerns about how we handle your information, please contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
